The Wash
Using pure water heated to 60 degrees, the paintwork is first pressure rinsed to remove surface grit and dirt.
|
The car is then treated to a deep penetrating foam soak to loosen and remove further dirt.
Again the car is pressure rinsed and then hand washed using the two bucket method. Only high quality buckets with grit guards are used together with pure lamb's wool mitts.
Alloy wheels are extensively cleaned with acid free wheel cleaner, as are the wheel arches, door shuts, boot and bonnet gutters and the fuel flap.
The car is pressure rinsed with pure hot water and towel dried.
Once dried, the alloy wheels are clayed to further remove surface contamination.

Washing a car correctly is the first step to ensure your car's paintwork remains in prestine condition.
Incorrect washing will lead to swirl marks and a deteriation of the paintwork.
The benefit of using pure water as apposed to tap water is that the amount of total disolved solids in the water (TDS) is extremely low. Our pure water never exceeds 12 parts per million, as against around 480 - 600 ppm in the london area.
This means that when the water evaporates it will the leave the paintwork clean and shiney without any water marks.
